UPDATE at 6:07 a.m.: Twelve victims are dead after a shooting at a bar in Southern California. Police also believe that the gunman is also dead, making 13.
Police say the attacker killed 11 people at the club, one officer who responded to the scene, and himself. Many news outlets are saying 12 are dead because they are not counting the gunman. The officer’s name was Sgt. Ron Helus.
